Land Vista, LLC was founded in February of 2006. As President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Green's responsibilities include strategic planning, execution of business strategy, management of day-to-day operations, and serving as the Broker-in-Charge of Land Vista, LLC. Mr. Green is well suited for this position, having been a Real Estate Broker since 1999. Previously, Mr. Green was President and CEO of Circle Development, LLC from 1999 until forming Land Vista, LLC. Mr. Green has represented the interests of national homebuilders, D.R. Horton and Centex Homes, development professionals, and commercial, industrial, and agricultural landowners.
Mr. Green was born, and raised on the family dairy farm which his great-great-grandfather homesteaded in Northfield, MN. In 1983, Mr. Green founded Green Grain Company, a cash grain brokerage and marketing firm. In 1987, Mr. Green founded Sciota Trading LTD, a commodities brokerage and marketing firm and served as the President, CEO, and Licensed Commodities Broker until 1994. Mr. Green expanded Green Grain Company to more than 6000 acres of grain production.
Mr. Green is also the founder of Green Wind Energy, LLC which invests in renewable energy, bio-mass, bio-fuels and bio-refinery development companies. Mr. Green is a founding member of High Country Energy LLC, located in Dodge and Olmsted Counties, Root River Energy LLC of Fillmore and Mower Counties, and Goodhue Wind LLC of Goodhue County, all in southeastern Minnesota. These companies are utility scale, Community Based Energy Development Companies (CBED) focused on producing sustainable, renewable electricity by harnessing wind energy with large turbines.
Mr. Green is a member of the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Minnesota Association of Realtors, Southern Twin Cities Association of Realtors, recognized as an Exchange Agent by Starker Exchange Services Inc., Member and past Board Member of the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association, Member of Minnesota Corn Growers Association, Past President, Rice/Dakota County Corn Growers, and past Member of the Maltby Nature Preserve Board of Directors. Mr. Green received the State “Conservationist of the Year” award in 1993 from the Minnesota Association of Soil and Water Districts.
